My name is Ty Weston.
For over 40 years I have lived and worked within occult, metaphysical, and historical spiritual frameworks. One truth became undeniable: most modern paranormal interventions fail — often within weeks — because they treat symptoms instead of sources.
I watched people spend thousands on psychics, mediums, New Age clearings, shamans, intuitives, and “ghost hunters,” only to see the activity return. The reason is simple: they never truly diagnose what they are dealing with.
This is why I founded Black Dog Investigations.
I did not invent the system I practice. It was revealed to me and passed along through a living lineage of the centuries-old Nahuallotl (Nahua) tradition — documented in ethnographic records and still practiced today with the same effectiveness it has had for hundreds of years. My role is to bring this exact, historically-tested diagnostic and resolution framework to people in genuine need in the modern world.
I am not a ghost hunter in the traditional sense. I am a Nahualli practitioner and paranormal diagnostician. My work is to identify the precise imbalance — residual echo, guardian presence, deceptive lure, attachment, land hole, or sorcery — and apply the tool that was revealed for that specific issue, with the goal of permanent resolution and restored balance.
Mission Statement:
To anchor rootedness and truth through the rigorous, choiceless observation of 'what is'; and to empower others to shed their conditioning so they may navigate the motion of existence with balance and clarity.
Black Dog Investigations (BDI) is not a ghost hunting group; we are a diagnostic and resolution agency. Our mission is to understand the human condition by studying the interaction between consciousness (Tonalli) and the energetic environment (Teotl). We reject superstition and fearmongering in favour of a surgical, forensic approach to the Unknown. We do not seek to 'prove' the paranormal; we seek to restore structural integrity to those living on the Slippery Earth (Tlalticpac).
Shared Values & Operational Principles:
The Authority of Truth (Neltiliztli). We believe that truth is not a destination, but a state of being firmly rooted in the present moment. We practice 'Choiceless Observation'—gathering forensic data without the distortion of desire, fear, or belief. We pledge to present our findings honestly, adhering to strict forensic standards (Kelley-Mikkola), and we refuse to fabricate evidence or embellish narratives to satisfy thrill-seekers. Furthermore, we observe 'what is', not what we wish it to be.
Structural Integrity Over Morality. We view the universe not as a battle between 'Good and Evil', but as a dynamic flow of Order and Chaos. We do not judge our clients based on religious dogma or 'sin'. Our role is that of a surgeon: to identify the energetic wound (Trauma), remove the parasitic infection (Ihiyotl), and restore the client’s balance. We approach every case with clinical neutrality and compassion.
Universal Respect & Dignity. We recognise that all life is connected through the unified field of Teotl. Therefore, we treat every client, team member, and member of the public with absolute dignity, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or personal belief. We respect the sanctity of the client’s property and privacy, operating with the discretion and professionalism of a medical unit.
Sovereignty & Cooperation. We respect the work of other researchers, but we walk our own path. We believe in the Krishnamurti principle of 'being a light unto oneself'—rejecting external gurus and secondhand authority in favour of direct experience and internal strength. Likewise, we cooperate with the field, but we are led solely by the data and the discipline of the Nahualli.
